The village is surrounded from the south by Zala hills, from the east by Kemenes-region, the moun - tain Ság and Kissomlyó, from the west by the hills of Vasi Hegyhát.
The wine region of Somló and hills of Bakony are within sight. From the look-out tower of István mountain we can gain a rousing view of the region.
The building of the eclectic style Horváth castle was finished in 1875.
