An elegant permanent exhibition on the lives of the poet Sándor Weöres and his wife Amy Károlyi awaits visitors in the renovated house of his birth.

The Baroque evangelical church with wood-bea - med ceiling was built in 1784. On one of its banks we can read the following carving (traditionally at - tributed to be done by Sándor Petőfi): “Spes confisa Deo nunquam confuse recedit” (Hope that trusts in God, the disconcerted never gives up).

A living messenger of the history of the village is the Tessedik-acacia, standing in the courtyard of the church. One of the first acacia trees was planted by Sámuel Tessedik in the 18th century
