Its Roman Catholic church da - tes back to the Árpád age, and it was built on an unusual hill to the west of the village: an iron-age burial ground. Its ornament is the Black Madonna icon by the pulpit, its main altar and the carved Mary statu - es, all of them in Baroque style. By the side of the church stands a wooden belfry, from the begin - ning of the 19th century
